“A well tied tie is the first serious step in life.” – Oscar Wilde. And Tie Right makes that first step much easier.

- 6 distinct necktie knots.
- Top Down (first person) perspective.
- Head On perspective.
- Step by step instructions.
- Daily Style Tips.

Tie Right eliminates the need for a mirror and offers simple step by step illustrations on six(6) of the most popular and handsome necktie knots known to man.
Tie Right also offers two distinct views, each one giving you a unique perspective to ensure that your knots are perfect every time.

The traditional ‘head on’ view provides step by step illustrations of every loop and every pull from the front on as if you were looking in a mirror.

The ‘top down’ view provides a first person perspective of every step in the knot. This first person view shows you just what you see as you look down at your necktie, no reversing images in your mind, no looking in a mirror. A monkey in a suit could figure this out.

In addition to the necktie tutorials Tie Right also offers a ‘Tip of the Day’ for your sartorial edification. If you don’t know what sartorial means just wait (it’s one of the tips). Every day you will get a notification informing you of a different tip, displayed at random so it won’t be the same as anyone else’s (well probably someone else’s but chances are you won’t know them).

Tie Right is simple, to the point and there when you need it. “With an evening coat and a white tie, anybody, even a stock broker, can gain a reputation for being civilized.” - Oscar Wilde (who often said memorable things about neckties, or so it would seem).

Pros and cons of Tie Right app for iPhone and iPad

Tie Right app good for

A great app to improve your lifestyle. Might need a bit of UI cleaning though. I like the daily tips, and check it almost everyday. Keep up the good work.
Very nice to be able to learn how to do "advanced" knots instead of the basic one everybody does!
Its a very good App! She helped me very good, and she has a lot Information to tie a tie good!
For a mere 6 knots, THE EASY ONES, I was heart broken... hope you will offer many more: Specially those for the "skinny" and trim ties. The "windsor" looks awful with "skinny" ties, for example
The app is a great tool to help with deciding knots for different types. The daily tips section is an excellent feature that makes this app all the more a must-have.
I tied awful ties for sports events and now that I have a couple of ways to tie good ties Im all set. ;)

Some bad moments

Its very hard to see the arrows.. Maybe dont use dots and/or a colour that stands out more. How do I get my 99 cents back?
I just downloaded the app and no sooner did I try it out I realized that its too hard too see the instructions. Glad I didnt pay for it.
You guys should be ashamed, I work my hands to the bone, and I come home and try to tie my bow tie, but this app says I need the help of magic, how can I afford that at my car wash where I make 7 pesos an hour. Sad face then briefly to an angry face.
Paid app, and it still has ads? For content I can easily google? And speaking of content, there isnt much. Here are many more knots on the web than the few shown in this app. Dont waste your money.
This app is wonderful! It makes being sophisticated easy and affordable!
Easy and for never tying a tie before, it only took my over an hour but now my tie looks perfect with the Windsor knot for my interview tomorrow. Thanks. My only complaint is to make the "next" button more sensitive or move the setting button somewhere else. I kept hitting it when trying to press next.
